Thank You El Señor Barresi!

I am very fortunate to have found this forum and I appreciate the time and effort involved with maintaining this space for us winged-folks.

My kiting experience took off in 2020 when a stunt kite quiver became a refuge for my spiritual and mental well-being. Lasting joy and many hours of flying since the stunt kites as well as one power kite (training for kitesurfing) and single line DeltaBox and gliders keep me excited for the future windy days.

I love the idea that flying kites can get us outdoors and enjoy the time safely together. Social interactions without the need to wear a mask because our lines would cross!

Here in Minneapolis, MN there was plenty of time to dwell on issues beyond kiting—but, who has time for social media when we can fly together?

I have aspirations for increasing exposure to this uplifting sport in my city and communities. Especially when I have the fortune of having kites.

If there are any of you here who has experience and knowledge to share about creating kite clubs or other types of organizations dedicated to flying our framed-friends, please o am all ears🤞

Let’s get off the ground together and have fun!

See you out there in the sky, Eric
