frob Posted June 16, 2022 Report Share Posted June 16, 2022 A reputable, retiring kite flier has been auctioning off a bunch of Lam Hoac designs one per week, including many SUL and SSUL kites, and will continue for the next several weeks until they're gone. They're a little more than your price, but the kites are top-tier at $400+ new, more than enough for what you describe. They've been selling around $250-$300. The 4D is beginner's toy in comparison to a master craftsman design.
