I started casually flying kites in the early 80's, mostly just sending single line kites up and staring at them. I also took a tiny pocket kite on many backpacking trips. In the mid-90's, picked up a small dual line Premier kite and a Rev II. I spent many hours on these kites, initially while playing hooky from grad school duties! I've recently jumped back in the fray with a delta conyne, a dual line sled and a couple of Prism dual lines, one for me and one for my wife.
