streetrat
Ive sometimes seen a line attached to the bottom of the trailing edge of stunters and assume it prevents the lines from getting tip wrapped----is this a common practice or a training device?????--------------cheers
hvkmike
Depends on the kite. Some kites incorporate it into the design & others don't. I have kites with & without. My old Flexifoil Psycho had one & it broke so I left it off. While flying,I didn't actually notice much difference with wingtip wraps, but I did experience a few wraps on the center spine. It was rare, but did happen. I did find I got more wing wraps while doing ground work. My feelings are that if you got it....keep it....if not....don't worry about it. If you are the type to alter or modify your kites then give it a try.Its not like its very difficult to add it to most kites. Then you can decide for yourself. Best of Luck! streetrat
thanx for the input, I been getting lotta tip wraps when trying to retrieve from "belly down away"and tried to jerk the kite upright as instructed, so I tried the string thing and it seems to be working just fine-------------- cheers
