Indoor Rev - Just got it. Any advice for using OUTDOORS?

I got my Indoor for the same reason.

Mine came with #90 x 10' lines which I found too short for outside. I've made a set of #90 x 20' and find this is good, for now.

I use the Indoor handles with it, never tried anything else.

Just in case: if you can "feel" wind put it down. It loads very quickly.

[Original post from dumb phone - Fix CR/LF]

Welcome to the fun of indoor, outdoor. I fly on 12 to 17'. (12, 15, and 17') I use the indoor handles as the winder with 15'. ]

When I'm not too lazy, I mount up the 17' with some PVC handles I made years ago.

I took a while to get the lines set to my sweet spot for flying outdoor. Make sure you can hit your neutral position in case of hard puff.

Indoor is twitchy, more so when powered up. Don't let it piss you off.

The lessons learned will transfer to your light air handling of your outdoor Revs.

More later when I can get on my lumptop.

This Crack Berry sucks :)

Time for my KiTherapy while the sun sets at Alki

Thanks guys.

I'll read Watty's article.

Actually, I flew it today (maiden flight) using 50# 90'.

Almost no wind.

Unfortunately, it was too long...

I will heed your advice and use shorter lines, which I thankfully have: 12' and 20' ones.

And yes, it's twitchy when powered... very twitchy.

And, when it does load, it loads quickly with a lot of power/pull.

I've seen it used, but not me!! Sorry, but if the wind isn't blowing - indoors go I! I find my Zen or SUL work in light wind well enough, that I can save my Indoor for that - indoors!! If it's that bad, I've got my Urban Ninja glider/fighter to use!! All of course IMHO!
