Sucks when the jeans go away. Levi's 565s were my favorite all time. Suddenly, no more making them. Oh well.

Tell me about it. I had a particular style of Carhartt jeans, that I've bought and worn for years, and as you say, NO MORE, and the ones that took their place, NO WHERE CLOSE :ani_wallbash: :ani_wallbash: :ani_wallbash:

BTW, the "565", is the number of threads/inch, running the long way, in the denim fabric. Try places that sell "work" clothes. Unless the 565's have been discontinued completely, you'll have a better chance of finding them there, than in the "trendy" shops, that cater to the young and "skinny". If that fails, try some of the "Western" stores. Normally, they will carry the, more traditional stuff. Then, if all that fails, there's always eBay. Lot's of them there, if you can find the right size..........good luck :ani_victory:

I loved 565's too. Don't know about your size, but I can't recommend Duluth Trading Company ballroom jeans enough. Tough, durable, great stitching, deep pockets, crotch gusset. I've had two pairs for two years and wear the heck out of them. Worth every penny to me. I ended up getting the flex with 1% spandex in them, sounds funny, but really works well when you're reaching or stretching over equipment and doesn't look different. Customer service is exemplary as well if you ever need to send anything back.

BTW, if you want, they offer a certified Made in America pair as well, but it's pricier.
