Once again this year...I was fortunate enough to spend several days in Treasure Island for the 18th Annual Sport Kite Competition. This was my third year in attendance.

Nice weather saw fair winds and large crowds.Sunday brought some of the largest spectator crowds I have seen. Unfortunately,I was flying line all day and unable to KAP.....never thought I would say that was an issue :P

Saturday however, I did manage to put the camera up and do a 1500 picture run throughout the area and competition/demo field. I have had the opportunity to review and crop out 50 or so pictures and uploaded them here for your viewing pleasure ;)https://flic.kr/s/aHsk7haVfu

On a side note...,always double check your camera is on and running. Took an hour stroll Monday @ 1000' ....thinking the whole time "how cool these pics will be"

In my haste to fly...forgot to turn camera on..d'oh!

Lol I got my first KAP pictures at the beach but even though I set for a pic every 5 seconds I ended up shooting video. Now trying to figure out how to capture a pic from video feed.

Try keyframes kn the editing software...or some other editing packs have a screen shot grab.

I do not use video often .. so not real sure. I am sure someone will chime in. Nice hearing you are going at it ;)

I mainly take stills..time lapse..just hit start and let it rip. It is about kiting for me..pics are just a bonus and a challenge to fly with the camera.

View Advert OSKUSA Exodus Full Sail and Exodus Max Vented
For Sale is an OSKUSA Exodus Full/Standard sail kite and an OSKUSA Exodus Max Vented kite. Both were bought in 3/2019 from Ocean Shores Kites. This is the newest version of these kites; check the logo placement on the top RH side of the sails. These kites have A-Holes instead of mesh on the leading edge. They also have Center T's on the leading edge to hold the vertical spars.  Both kites have Crystal T2 frames, come with a canvas bag, and include an extra endcap with bungee. The two kites are in excellent/great condition.
Asking $275 for both, but am willing to sell them individually for $145 each. PayPal payment only. I will provide free shipping. Will sell to USA only.
Please message me with any questions or additional photos. THX!

We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way.
This is one of the more unique Subscriber prizes we've offered to date!

Our winner will receive one moderately used Symphony 2.2(.4), manufactured by HQ Kites ($85 value) as a dual line foil and then significantly modified into a superb quad line (adding the ".4") by our very own @riffclown from here on the forum, Riff is already well known for his passion and ingenuity and received direct blessings from HQ USA as well... This is one of the best handling quad foils I've had the pleasure of flying, and Riff has even shared the plans for anyone who would like to mod their own kite.
Previous forum discussion on the subject, and the plans:
