Karma - Revolution Supersonic 3/15/2015

Recommended Posts

Ok, here's the the next Karma item. You will be soon be trampling and tripping over each other to get this little beauty, not to mention all the drooling.

Up for grabs, if you're quick enough to catch it, is a very gently used Revolution Supersonic kite, adjusted for optimum performance by me. Might need a little more tension on the leading edge bungees, if you want it quieter. The drawing is for the kite and frame only; it does not include lines or handles (it does include the spare frame pieces that came with the kite). I usually fly my Supersonic on 80-120 foot 90# line and the 13" standard handles.

To enter the drawing you must say "I'm in" as your first words. Good luck to everyone!

Drawing will be by RNG the evening of the 15th of March, 2015, at a time to be determined by a post from me that states entries have ended.

Standard Karma Note from the Moderators

This is a Karma Drawing. The winner of the drawing is expected to pay it forward by offering their own prize for the next drawing. Please do not enter unless you are willing to offer your own prize, preferably not the prize you just won. Drawings should be open for entry approximately 2 weeks, and the next drawing should be posted as soon as possible to keep the Karma rolling.
These drawings are run by and for KiteLife members. The moderating team only ensures that your drawing post contains all of the pertinent information (drawing date/time, adequate prize description, drawing rules) before approval. If you are a KiteLife member from the US or Canada, you are eligible to enter. You do not have to be a paid subscriber.
Members from Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii are welcome to enter the Karma drawings provided they are willing to pay half of the Karma prize shipping cost. The method and timing of the payment will be agreed upon between the two parties after the drawing for a particular prize.

Here is the link to the original Rules and Guidelines thread:

The mechanism for the drawing itself is entirely at the discretion of the person offering the prize. In the past, entry number has been determined either by order of entry or by the post number in which the member declares entry into the drawing. The drawings have been performed using the RNG method (
http://www.random.org/sequences/) or by choosing the numbers out of a hat (I believe an adorable daughter did the picking in that scenario). The only requirement is that the method of selection is clearly spelled out in the drawing post.

Entry into the drawings is done by STARTING a post in the drawing thread with the entry phrase chosen by the drawing host (Traditionally "I'm in", but "I LIKE" has been used as well). In order to remove any confusion or misinterpretation, only entries with posts that START with the phrase will be considered. As with all other KiteLife drawings, bantering is encouraged. This is for fun after all.

"I'm In"

I told my wife I was going to quit entering for awhile, but then Mark has to go and throw a sweet Rev out as his Karma offering. I absolutely cannot resist the chance to add to my Rev collection and I have the handles and lines to fly it with!!!!

Thanks Mark for offering up such a great prize!

Hi, Mark. Welcome to the forum and good luck. The actual chances of winning in the Karma are very good. I've won three times in the last year or so; just remember that if you win, you will have to offer something for the next drawing. It doesn't have to be expensive or even a kite, just something kiting related like hats, sunglasses, lines, handles, sail cloth, etc. Whatever you can afford to pass on to someone else. It's a pay-it-forward kind of deal.

Hope to meet and fly with sometime soon. Any questions you have about any kind of kiting can be answered here. This is where the best in the world hang out.

How about: "Some days are diamond, some days are stone. Sometimes the bad times won't leave me alone!"??

John Denver couldn't have said it better!

Look 2 posts up - #14 :cat_lol:

I did -- that's why i said John Denver..............I tried to quote, but it wouldn't let me for some reason, so I copied and pasted it.

.....pssssst "I'm IN!"

This post does not start with "I'm in". It starts with .....pssssst, but I added you to the players' list anyway because I'm such a nice and understanding guy, but the other guys won't like it because in decreases their odds of winning.

:ani_rtfm::ani_whistling: LOL
