Maybe it won't be 50 single name ... maybe more ... let's see how far it goes, just for now ...

Rodney Mullen, The Godfather of Skateboarding, gave me a new way of thinking to break it down to very basic foundation, before to perform a single trick (trick name, example : frontside flip)

I do not know if John Barresi is the Godfather of Quad Lines Revolution Kite Flying, but I do know that he has won A LOT of competition and many others ... John Barresi's Biography

Speaking of Sport Kite Tips ... this is my lesson for now, as well as for any beginner who wish to fly ...

  • Work on 2-3 things at a time, focus on them, try to identify whats next in a natural progression, ask other fliers.

... John Barresi, thanks for all those videos you created :)

... Thanks to other Quad Rev Kite Flyers post your videos ... I enjoying them.

Alright, back to topic about Quad Lines Revolution Kites Tricks "Name" ...

... I do not know all the trick names or its definition ... Let's finish all the names.

The question mark on the "? word ?" means "not sure about it, if it's exist or has a meaning"

Thanks !!!

Axle,Flic Flac,Clam roll,Falling Leaf,Tornado,Walk,Run,Wave.....

Half of those are trick names ... I just want basic names ... "roll, walk, run, wave" just added ... thanks.

(Hence, this is beginner mode at the moment)

Later on, I will have questions about these words ... for example : roll vs spin?

Ok, I get it now. You're looking for single word terms, not yet trick names like your title says.

How about forward, reverse, inverted, arc, clockwise, counterclockwise, glide.

Not sure if you're looking for things like square, box, diamond.

Yes ... those are excellent words ... I will add those words to list as I get on the computer (not tablet)

Done.

Thanks !!!

19. Clockwork (tick tock) Clockwise

Don't cross out clockwork for clockwise. They are 2 different things.

Clockwork (also known as clock turns?) are in place rotations around the center of the kite with stops every so often, eg. at 90degrees, 45 degrees, etc.

Clockwise (and counterclockwise) are directions of rotation.

Iron-cross

re-fuel

nesting

pass-thru

I have no clue what these are ... care to explain ?

iron-cross (shape ?)

re-fuel, nesting, and pass-thru ?

Those sound like pairs/team terms. I have more of that kind if you want, but I figured you might want to stick to terms for individual flying.

I thought, Clockwork is a "trick" name ... while clockwise is movement or path or just a name...

After think about it for a moment ... 7 o'Clock ... yeah, it's "pointing"

I will fix it later (I'm on tablet) Done.

Correct ... terms for individual flying only, not Team ... thanks for explaination.

Everybody forgot the water tail flume, also known as wtf.

a what ? ... that is more liking "WTF ?"

LOL ... in english, please :)

I'm sorry. I meant to type "water tip flume", not "water tail flume". My bad.

I don't understand how putting spin on a cue ball would help.

Sorry, that is not helping ... https://goo.gl/0pSWfK ... third image is suitable for this "google search or help" ... LOL

I play Miniclip 8 Ball Pool android app for over 2 years ... putting a spin on a cue ball does help, but not necessary, except guaranteed going for scratch.
