makatakam
Will the production model be full-size?
John Barresi
That is full size, for an indoor. lol Seriously, this is the size, nearly final design. You ever try and swing a 7-8 foot kite around indoors? Especially on the short lines, larger wingspan greatly limits both maneuverability and flight detail. iNak is smaller, Wren is a hair bigger (I believe), for comparison. Echo might be around the same size. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
makatakam
I've never tried indoor -- at least not indoors, anyway. I was thinking a bit bigger to give it some more float and grace, unless the intent is "rock and roll".

makatakam
Yeah, but I've seen you do both, sometimes even in the same routine. Of course, there could be two sizes available.

John Barresi
Time will tell, but the versatility of this size fills all my buckets - will look at a separate outdoor design in the future. RobB
Another hand goes up for scaling that up... My hands are too heavy for little kites. The 4d had great capabilities, but I never fly it just because of its size. A kite that is totally missing from the market would be a ProDancer that has more than a couple of tricks in it...

I agree -- an outdoor EUL (extremely ultra light). And I like "Whisper" as a name for it!
John Barresi
@RobB - while I agree in principle, the smaller kite is more accessible for a variety of folks in indoor and urban conditions, just not a whole lot of buyers for the large class kites, at this point anyway. Valid point though. FYI, the Whisper already exists: http://www.windpowersports.com/kites/into-the-wind/whisper.php

Exult
I was thinking of going on with mythological creatures (such as the Kymera), but of some less fierceful nature, something like The Siren or the Fairy.
John Barresi
I like mythological names too, as long as they’re short and readable by almost anyone - 4 to 7 characters.

Exult
Thinking of it, "The Pixie" (some kind of a fairy) also sounds light and even more positive than a fairy fairy to me.
