We shipped 21 kites in the last two days, another similar batch going out tomorrow... 75 in all, 11 countries, so humbling and cool! I’m thinking about doing a Kaiju video contest maybe 3-4 weeks

This kite is going to remain assembled for some time.  At five feet tip to tip I will be able to easily carry it fully assembled in any vehicle with the lines attached , ready for action.  The materia

Here's a picture of mine getting ready to lift off in the front yard.  My first ever attempt at one hand flying a dualie.  Short lines are going to make taking a picture a bit problematic.  Notice our cat "Polecat" laying in the drive observing.

First picture in the air.  Shot with my Nikon D3200.

Not a great shot, but a great moment.  SHBKF

This kite is going to remain assembled for some time.  At five feet tip to tip I will be able to easily carry it fully assembled in any vehicle with the lines attached , ready for action.  The materials, hardware & assembly are superb.  I am very impressed.  This one will no doubt have a very special place in my KiteLife.

Here it is down in the Kite Dungeon getting acquainted with another recent arrival, The Jester by RiffClown.  The beginning of a long friendship for sure.  SHBKF

Mine is #12.  You were pretty fast on the draw to get a single digit.

And this is why we call her Polecat.  Two years ago she spent several hours on top of this 25 foot light pole, until the hail & thunderstorm arrived about 3 AM.  It was her first night at her new foster home.  SHBKF

Ok yawll after much deliberation I am going to present this months Karma drawing. Unlike most of you I just recently got back into kiting so yes this karma is not going to be huge but I am so willing to give back I am giving away Half of my kite bag they will be a single line 4 meter octopus and a 2.5 meter dual line parafoil rainbow color.  a kite stake,  3 sandbags, and a line winder. I hope there is  something for everyone in this batch.
Oh the reason for May 23 that's my birthday so a perfect day to give back. Also might give a bit more time for people to get involved. Good luck to all.
Better and more images to follow.

      Some rules and guidelines:

Don’t play unless you’re willing to put up a prize and ship it to whoever wins.

Shipping is paid by the original poster, the winner pays nothing. Be prepared to ship your prize anywhere in the lower 48 US States. Sorry, but due to shipping costs, we really have to limit this to the lower 48 US States.

RULE CHANGE (7/31/2014): Members from Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii are welcome to enter the Karma drawings provided they are willing to pay half of the Karma prize shipping cost. The method and timing of the payment will be agreed upon between the two parties after the drawing for a particular prize.

You can choose the length of the giveaway, but keep it between 1 and 2 weeks.

Try to ship the prize promptly. You should be able to ship it within a week, but if you can’t, PM the winner and let them know. Sometimes life gets in the way! This whole thing works on the honor system so if there are any problems shipping or receiving a prize, it needs to be worked out between the two parties. Don’t forget…Karma!

This isn’t a competition, but feel free to be generous! If you can only put up a hat, or a tail for a stunt kite, great! If you have something in your kite bag that you never fly and would be willing to ship, that’s great too. Either way, the people that join to win it will appreciate it.

When you receive your prize, post a thank you to the thread where you won it.

The thread will be locked after that point so the new **KARMA** stays above it.

      Good luck, and have fun!
