Cot51stState 56 Report post Posted May 30 If my daughters come through with that subscription that I've been promised for Father's Day, then will I be entered? I'm a man of few wants, so they're actually relieved to finally have that KiteLife subscription as a suggestion.
John Barresi 5,361 Report post Posted May 30 If you subscribe before 9am on July 1st, you’re in the running. 👍🏻
SparkieRob 1,671 Report post Posted May 31 This, is a kite I think everyone should have in your bag. Short lines opens up areas to fly that aren't normally accessible. Soooo much personality.Sent from my SM-G950F using KiteLife mobile app
Wayne Dowler 1,932 Report post Posted May 31 This is also a great indoor kite too!

I'm waiting for my Father's Day present so I'll be entered! I have, however, prepared a 13' line set in the event I'm the lucky individual 😎.

I alternate between it and my indoor quad on T/Th mornings. If the person who wins the prize isn't interested in an indoor kite, I'd gladly accept a redirection to my address.

Just this past weekend as I was measuring out a set of 50# 120' fly lines I thought how cool it would be to take a break from sleeving and fly a kite in the backyard.

FWIW, I started sewing mine because I couldn't afford the others.. My bag grew pretty much one kite at the time..
Cot51stState 56 Report post Posted July 2 I started out spoiled... living at the beach (courtesy of the USAF), working part time at a kite store, and getting a nice employee discount on my kite purchases. There was this weird closed loop when it came to my paycheck 🤔
frob 142 Report post Posted July 2 There have been times in my life I wished I could have similar. Work in a place for a while, get a bunch of employee discounts and ultra-cheap clearance items that still work perfectly, all the scratch-and-dents that only have cosmetic issues, etc. Also a chance to try out all the different options to get a good feel for them. Not just kites, but get to use all the cars, get to use all the musical instruments, get to use all the ultra-comfy mattresses, get to try all the audio systems, all the latest and greatest computers, etc. Another would be being the driver in the commercials where they pop up the warning, "professional driver, closed course, do not attempt".

It was a return and I was told if I could get it to fly I could have it. All I had to do was flip the bridle over... my (3 yo at the time) daughter loved that kite.
