I thought it would be a good idea.... I saw this new kind of reel for kites - a ring about 10 inches with a handle in the middle and a knob on the outside ring. I put up my 8 foot box delta with it, and it almost broke my wrist. With the kite up only about 200 feet, it was pulling so hard, I could not reel it in unless someone else was working with me to take up tension on the string. So I guess my question is what is the best equipment to use for a larger kite like this?
