Exult 485 Posted June 2, 2018 Report Share A Jam Session was first serious DLK and main kite (among few at the time) during 1997-2000. This looks like the same model, just like mine minus all repairs. Those were the days... Quote Link to comment
esinger 346 Posted June 2, 2018 Report Share I bought these two Jam Sessions back in 1996. The vented version I purchased at an auction during the Outer Banks Stunt Kite Competition. I recently repaired both these kites. When I pulled them out of the bags and assembled them, most of the leading edge connectors disintegrated. They have now been replaced. Quote Link to comment
Exult 485 Posted June 2, 2018 Report Share Hmm.. I already started doing the disintegration here during the end of the nineties mostly (including two of the LE-connectors)... However the LE connectors that survived the nineties, also survived my kite hibernation period ending 2016. Btw, 540ies are and look nice on this kite - it is still the kite I do them best on. esinger 346 Posted June 2, 2018 Report Share I also came out of kite hibernation in 2016. The Jam Session was the trick kite of those days for sure. I found the vented model to be the best kite I had for doing very flat double axles. They do like to spin. Quote Link to comment
The_Flying_Potato 0 Posted May 11, 2019 Report Share I haven't flown since 2003 - just a after Gulf War 11 started. My first kite, back in the late 1990s, was a Prism Fanatic, and a mate had a Jam Session (black rainbow). I wasn't at all bad at flying back in the day and probably would have bought the HQ rather than the Prism, had I known better. 🙂 James Quote Link to comment
