I wouldn't think they'd be too worried about someone flying a kite in the parking lot - there isn't really anything to damage or steal. Figure it's at least worth a drive over. Worst thing that happens is I get chased out (or the wind doesn't blow).

I'm heading to AL for a couple of days. Looking at Google Earth, it appears the area around the Talladega race track is flat and wide open (read: great for flying kites if there's wind). Curious if anyone has ever tried to fly over there.
