Allen Carter

A resident of Half Moon Bay, California, Allen is responsible for content development and presentation as Executive Editor at KiteLife Magazine.

An avid kiter since 1998, Allen’s first love is fighters but he spends a lot of his flying time with a dual line kites. Quads and a wide variety of SLKs are also in the mix. Several seasons of AKA sportkite competition cemented Allen’s love of flying to music. The Internet has been a part of Allen’s kite life from the beginning, including a stint writing a column called “The Sporting Life for his local club newsletter” back around the turn of the century.

With a previous career in art and photography and a current career in computer security, Allen brings a variety of skills and experience to KiteLife beyond just a passion for kiting. Some of his non-kiting photographs can be seen at allenjcarter.com
