  1. Thanks dragonfish. I guess I won't go today then
  2. Reef Runner, yep,I got some of that crashing too. But I was told the B was very durable from slamming to the ground, as long as L don't do it side way too often. It took me a while too to figure out how to deal with the kite, then the fun began. And it was a blast.I can't wait to fly out next time. Reved, yes that is the place. I'm afraid that it will be crowded on weekends as there are sometimes concerts at the amphitheater, and a large portion of the playground i converted into parking lot. But it still got some grassy area to fly your kite too, it just might get crowded.
  3. I went there today and was lucky as the wind was smooth. I was flying around and found that this was more fun that I thought. Then I tried to do hovering and failed badly
  4. Yep, I checked them out and I am flying at the place near me (Shoreline Park)
  5. Congratulations, Robin
  6. Yep. I looked at those tutorials and, they sure help a lot. But then I need to get out there and try them out
  7. Thanks guys. It looks like I am okay now
  8. Haha, thanks PereiraM
  9. I understand. You guys were awesome, helping a total newbie like me. I read all of your posts about recommending, and went with the regular B becasue it will be my first rev, and I wouldnt wanna "drive a Lambo" as my first car. Plus, I bought a used mid-vent from a fellow kitelifer because it was available in my area. Can't wait to fly it this week
  10. Hi Reved, it'll be good to fly with you SparkieRob, that's what I was afraid of haha. I already found "my colors", and I kept going back to the coloriser to look at the one I dream about
  11. Please let it be me I promise I'll be good. A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y good.
  12. So, after reading all of your advises, I ended up getting me a used mid vent. I will try it out at Shoreline this week and see how it goes Also, dragonfish, where are those neighborhood parks that you were talking about? I tried some park and there are just too many trees
  13. Thanks John
  14. Thanks a lot for all of your advises. I guess I'll start buy getting a used one. A mid vent sounds like a good place to start for my journey "to the dark side" like someone said
  15. Well the thing is that there are not so many selling those kites. I only saw one every once in a while
  16. Now that really makes sense to me, thanks a lot guys. I guess I'll start on the standard B series then.
  17. Thanks, I did that, now it doesn't show me that page any more. I still don't know if I am validated or not tho
  18. Haha, thanks guys. I guess I have to start saving for the whole set. But I mean, if I buy the Pros, then do I end up saving some money instead of buying many sets?
  19. What about me John? What's my number?
  20. Hello all, So I am still brand new in flying rev, and I wonder if buying a B pro 1.5 is appropriated at this level. The thing is that I want a kite that can last me a long time, and without having to buy replacement. I know that it is more expensive than the exp or 1.5 but if I keep buying more, they will end up even more expensive than a b pro. Any advise for me? Thanks a lot in advance
  21. Hi, for some reasons I still got stuck at the admin validation page. My chrome browser said that the address has too many redirect loop
