Hello Everyone...

Total newbie here, with all of 6 hours of flight time under my belt... Yet totally addicted already.

I have an opportunity to buy a 2 line kite that was made by "The Kite Factory" model # 20074.

The problem is that their website is "Under construction" and I am trying to find out if it's a decent kite or not. I was told it retailed for $100...

I am concerned that they may be a "fly-by-night" company.. (No pun intended)

Does anybody know about these kites ?

The answer is ... it depends. It depends upon whether the kite in question was made/sold by The Kite Factory in Australia (and therefore possibly did retail for $100) or The Kite Factory company in California and made in Asia. If it's the former, it is probably a decent kite; whether it's what you're looking for is another question. I'm not aware of any kite made/sold by/imported by the California company that is worth anything close to $100.

Hope that helps!

Jim
