TAKAKO
Okay, we left Colorado on July 1st, heading toward Texas and the South. First, we took I 70 E. It's very flat land. All wheat and corn to the horizon. And sometimes stopped strange places. Or, stopped at yummy things. And last night, we slept at Walmart parking in Salina, KS. It was little bit tight, but we could sleep. ! And today, we run more south, got OK City around noon! Yesterday, JB announced to FB friends about our arrival, and there was a guy who wanted a Rev Lesson! That's cool! SHBKF
Have spent several nights in WalMart lots but I like the car parks at truck stops better. Many times it is almost like circling the wagons on the old trail drives. By morning there may be five or more van campers, a few pickups & sometimes cars. Some of our best nights camping have been at impromptu locations. Enjoy the journey. Sometimes it's better than the destination....SHBKF
TAKAKO
We went to Hideaway Pizza at Stillwater, OK. It is our friend Richard Dermer's restaurant. We love him.... Let's Smile Together Tour 2014 TK Barresi + AMA2
