That should work and I used vinyl end caps on the rod, the glue was put on TOP of the nock on the larks head into the nock to stiffen the knots while I pulled them tight. It was the gel kind that doesnt get so brittle when it dries but still good ole ca Rods on my Rev I at 16.10" and 13.5 on the 1.5 and after a bit of testing and toying I decided to give the rev I a slight arc of 7deg. Should make it a little easier to handle without affecting it's brilliant performance. Quote
