Chuck Lohre

I studied architecture in college before joining our family’s marketing and communications firm, Lohre & Associates. The long-time Cincinnati-based company, now headquartered in Over-the-Rhine, specializes in marketing for mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering and sustainable products and services. 

Most recently, I returned to my life-long interest in architecture. In 2008, I studied and received LEED AP status and have taught green and sustainable construction courses with Cincinnati State College and through Green Cincinnati Education Advocacy, a sustainable marketing and services brand I founded in 2009. In addition to leading tours of local green buildings for the benefit of the general public, I actively volunteer with the marketing committee of the Cincinnati chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, and serve on the boards of ReSource and Earth Day Cincinnati.

I'm also a glider pilot and member of the Caesar Creek Soaring Club. I live in Clifton with my wife Janet Groeber in the Boulter House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1956. If I ever get to retire, I hope to raise a dog and practice falconry again.
