  1. It was brought to my attention that I should mention how these kites were stored. I was told to store all of our kites assembled “leading edges connected” un-tensioned in a cool dark area of the house like a closet. They have been stood up in a corner stored this way the entire time I’ve owned them. Thank you.

View Advert Stranger Level 7 Stranger Level 7 (Flexifoil International) Mocha or Cappuccino I can’t remember their exact name for the brown, I searched two years to find one of these and Dave Shenkman tracked this down for me, after 30 or so minutes of flying this kite I realized it’s beyond my skill set and never flew it again, another victim of the hall closet for the last fifteen years and forgotten about. 7. View Advert Rev-1.5-SLE Rev-1.5-SLE, another kite that was beyond my skill set and was flown for less than 30 minutes. I bought this kite from Dave Shenkman at one of the kite parties and he gave me some flying lessons and it became obvious I was going to need to devote hours of practice to learn to fly something that never happened. Stored in a hall closet for the last fifteen years and put together for this photo, everything appears as new, comes with lines and factory handles, also included is a set of titanium 17” handles. I made several sets of these titanium handles for Dave and the other quad line guys at the old kite connection web forum, they can easily be cut down shorter if you wanted. I’m happy to take specific photos for you if need better views of the sail. $230.00 + shipping Advertiser J Mack Date 11/09/2019 Price $230.00 Category Kites (Quad Line) Brand Revolution Model 1.5 SLE
  8. Thank you John, My daughter and I got into flying kites around 2000 as a way to have some fun together without the stress of competition, at the time she was competing on a factory BMX team traveling around the country and flying kites was the perfect distraction. I ended up on the Kite Connection web forum and started buying more higher end kites and ended up at the first couple of kite parties then the hook was set, we ended up flying kites a lot in the early 2000’s and started collecting kites we thought were interesting thinking this hobby would be a long term family thing but in 2005 I got a job offer in Boise Idaho. With moving, new job, new schools, life and a million other excuses the kites got put in a hall closet and forgotten about until a couple weeks ago when my wife found the bags and asked what I wanted to do with them. After a couple of days going down memory lane remembering all the good times I need to find homes for some of these kites, we are going to keep the sentimental kites and teach the grandbabies how to fly but I have several kites that have never been flown and several I can’t remember the manufacture or the kite name. Looking on the internet for more info led me to your site, I would like to post some photos and ask your membership for help identifying some of these kites and coming up with a fair value if that request is appropriate here. Regards, Jim Mack
