EdSpace Posted April 14, 2021 Report Posted April 14, 2021 Does anyone have experience of HQ Flow as a kite for light wind? I'm fairly new and largely flying to relax and attempting to master nothing more than the basics (normally with a prism hypnotist) and looking something that I can fly around in pretty shapes on days with barely detectable wind. Not particularly interested in being able to perform slack line tricks. Quote
EdSpace Posted April 16, 2021 Author Report Posted April 16, 2021 Thanks. I'd never heard if that one; but seems to be similar spec and price. It's not listed on the HQ website; but spotted it's still stocked by some kite shops. Quote
szobelda Posted April 16, 2021 Report Posted April 16, 2021 It was my first stunt. Small, hard to do tricks with but very light and will stay in the air when a lot of other SULs will not. I think that I might still have my old one. PM if you want me to check. DSz Quote
EdSpace Posted April 21, 2021 Author Report Posted April 21, 2021 Thanks DSz. That's pretty much what I was after; something that will fly about with minimal wind but not bothered about tricks. I bought myself the HQ Flow in the end, and having flown it this evening in a very slight wind am happy with impressions from its first outing. Quote
