You are doing well with the Reflection. It is such a nice kite.

I have a suggestion on your fades. I think the best way to get the fade is to start from fade launch. Back up till tail is about 8" or so off the floor and then pull the fade. It is easier than doing it in the air. Then move to up and over to the fade. The reflection is pretty easy to get into a fade from half of half axle up in the air.

The other trick that is nice with the reflection is the slot.

we are hoping to go to the WSIKF for the first time.

i know you are going (?) and Watty, .... finally meeting virtual kiting friends in person.

we are going to leave for the long trip but had not make detailed plan for the WSIKF event

we only know that we want to go. We will be coming from RI.

any tips on lodging or flight are welcome.

i first have to finish things here and leave for MA next week.
