Red Doug Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Since I expect to fly in mostly soggy conditions for the next six months, I'm beginning to wonder how people keep things dry. I can fill up a couple of rooms with drying kites and control mildew in front of the fireplace, but I don't know what to do with flying lines. I can just see them wrapped around all the plants--we'd be living like spiders. Yet I doubt if I can throw spectra in the dryer--I wrecks my shirts. What am I to do?? Red Doug Goble OR Quote
Progcraft Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 G'day. I put my winders on the vents in my house. They dry fine over night. I do a lot of winter flying and my kites and line are always getting thourougly soaked then dryed in this fashion. I've not noticed any pre-mature degradation of the line. I still use the original 150# lines that my obsession came with. 8 years ago!!! hth Cheers, P. Quote
