Questions Rev II

I just bought a Rev II, I see that it is smaller than other namely 1.5, Exp, and 1.5 vented.

My question is: what does it more than others and it reacts more or less rapid, more specific? Need more or less wind EXP or 1.5?

I will test this WE if the wind is the game.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Please Can you use a proper English I used Google to translate Thanks

Best regards

Dominique

Hello,

Oh dear, proper english?

The Rev II is a high wind kite. It needs more wind then the 1.5 to fly. It is a faster kite, but you can slow it down. It's really not suppose to be a first kite for a beginner, but you can learn to fly it.

The EXP and 1.5 should use about the same wind.

Hope this helps.

Best Breezes,

Penny

My first REV was a REV 2. I was very frustrated with it because I tried to fly in low winds. This is very difficult for a beginner. I would not try to start flying this kite until the winds are at least 15 kpm. Keep your hands together and use only wrist inputs. Fly to the top of the wind window and play up there until you get the feel for the kite. Once you do this it is easy to progress. Good Luck.

I tried RevII last Saturday that great wind of 10/15 kmh no more Sunday against a real bomb it reacts differently: faster, less accurate and not easy to master especially with a strong wind 20/25kmh.

Other issues: removing the bridle it would be more flexible, handy? Does anyone tried it with 6mm bars when the wind is weaker, because I found it takes a little more wind than 1.5 or EXP?

As I understood against the usefulness of certain actions and make corrections

I'm starting in the handling of Revo, and my English fortunately there is Google or Yahoo to get the translation.

Hello Dominique, I would not recommend taking the bridle off. I fly without bridles, but the rev II is fast, and taking the bridle off will make it even faster.

What handles are you using? The shorter the handle the better.

The wind sounds good. Use your brakes, push down on your thumbs more, rotating your wrist to slow it down. Keep pressure back to keep the speed under control.

It will be hard, but you can do it. Good luck! BB Penny

Finally I tryed the "beast" with short handles, miracle and there is already a bit better, I realized that it is not easy and it does not forgive mistakes especially when using 12m short lines.

In the week I would test with long lines of 25m. Thank you for your advice.
