I am making my first kite. a simple two stick kite with one line. i have attempted to make this kite twice and i have faced the same problem. when the kite becomes airborn it just flies in circles. what are my possible problems?

Two Things. The placement of the bridle, too high or too low. Second, add a tail to hold the bottom down.

Well i have a tail on it 15 ft. and when i loward the bridle it still went crazy. it is a bit windy here in las vegas today. could that be a big factor?

I would say then it comes down to the actual design, Does it have a bridle? Is it in a traditional eddy shape or other? Is it aerodynamically sound? I would edit your post and for the subject line put "single line guys...HELP". They would probably have an answer.
