Guru4tru Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Yes!! A good "Fly Day"! Every now and then I like to fly in some "good" wind! The fields where I live at are good, but being inland they just can't match an ocean wind. So, I drove the extra miles to Ocean Reef Park on Singer Island. The wind was a steady 16 to 18 mph and I flew "Windy" (full-vent Pro Fade w/ greenies) and she really enjoyed herself. The only problem is that you can't fly in the "guarded area" so you have to walk much farther then this old body likes, especially with all the stuff I carry. If it wasn't for those "Wheeleez" that I build a cart around, I wouldn't even attempt to go there. Now, I'll have to rest for a day--summer down here is rough...but the wind was Great! heehee! Keep It Up! Duane Quote

Wayne Dowler Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 From the little time I've spent on them, Pretty Hardy Critters!!! You may have to smash them on purpose, to cause any damage!! PS: It's almost a 2 hr drive to the coast from my house!!! Quote
