timmyz Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 What type of line should I use to make to make adjustable leaders for my handles? And how long should they be? Thanks Tim Quote
Wayne Dowler Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Most would use bridle line in either 90-100# or 150# strength! Make them as long as the gap from top attachment point to bottom attachment point! Also start tying the knots from the inside to the end, each knot shortens up the leader! If you cut to length, then start tying, they end up too short! Just be ready for a bit of waste! I start knots about 3-4" from the handle end and place more every 3/4"-1"! Just make sure the two MATCH! The distance isn't critical, but having both sides exactly the same IS! 2 Quote
