Thanks so much @John Barresi. I don't have much of a kite story, but perhaps it's writing itself as I type this... A year or so ago I held someone's line momentarily at a park and it re-sparked a childhood excitement. I didn't think much of it at the time, but it stuck with me. A year later and I'm still watching kitebuilding videos thinking about designs I want to put together, so I'm getting out some plastic bags and bamboo skewers and going to see what's what.
