  1. Penny I thought that was just a fluke when it floated into your arms!! Well...guess what? I tried it again yesterday and not only did it float gently into my arms...I never had to move a step...just reached out and it dropped gently into my lovin' arms!! There wasn't quite enough wind for a dead lauch attempt but that's coming next windy day! Meanwhile...here's some action pics of the Stack we built!!
  2. Thanks for the very kind offer Kent. I think I'm doing okay so far, I've got 4 kites now, well the fourth is on it's way...and I'm not really in a hurry to get the next two. Meantime, here's a picture of the Stack as flown today...
  3. Well as a relative newbie to Revving...my own thoughts would be to bite the bullet and buy a vented rev. If you are bound and determined to fly in high winds the Vented Rev ll is awesome....at least it was the one time I got to fly one. I have a vented 1.5 that I use quite often when the winds are up significantly and I still want to retain very good control and not have to raise my shoulders walking off the field so my knuckles won't drag!! Don't shy away from vented Revs...they are really quite wonderful to fly specially the 1.5's!!
  4. I'm looking for at least two more Revll's! I would prefer solid colors and the brighter the better! I really need to build on this stack!! Thanks!
  5. Okay...now I'm addicted to stacked Rev ll's!! Penny it 's all YOUR fault too! I had a gas flying them today....they certainly do attract attention! Anyway...I presently have 3 in my li'l stack and want to go for 6! I've found one more so that means I still need two more Rev ll's! I'm looking for the solid colored ones, preferably in blue or purple or green as I have two fluorescent yellow ones, one hot pink, and a Red one. If anyone is selling a Rev ll or knows of someone who is...could you let them know I'm interested in purchasing it (them) Thanks ever so much!!
  6. Well here it is almost competition time again and once again I'm wondering what to fly for Precision this year. God knows I've tried enough kites to choke most horses but can't seem to find that "just right" combination that suits my style (lazy) of flying!! I don't like kites that take a lot of input...like the STX's...so I'm open to suggestions. One of the kite makers I'm looking at is Jeff Howard and his "Next". I was wondering if anyone has tried his kites and could tell me, or better yet write a review of the Next? I'm looking at three kites, an SUL or UL, a Standard and a Vented for those "what am I doing here windy days". Another is the Shiva, but I'm primarily looking for an awesome (or better) precision kite. (Don't want much do I??? )
