  12. This has got to be a Joke! StyroWing UFO...World's Baddest Stunt/Fighter Bird Kite Get yours today only: $21,000,000.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/...id=p3286.c0.m14
  13. I had the Trick and Track out today in some pretty good wind, and I was doing some axels (needs lots of slack) Lazy suzans would just keep falling out of the sky. My Jump was doing double Axels and Filc Flacs, the LeQuartz was giving me multi Lazys and nice Axels in the same wind. This kite will side slide, stall and track very nice, I'm sure the a more accomplished pilot could get more out of it. So I'm going to sell it. Email me if interested.
  14. I had the Trick and Track flying today and managed to pull off some Lazy suzans, but that's it. The wind was low and gusting, so I'm blaming the wind for a lot of the problems. But I also had my other kites flying and they all did much better. Ill keep you posted as the winds get better. and I can get it some more flying time.
  15. Sorry John, I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. I though that this was an acceptable plan as long as it is used for personal use only. I just love to build things ( I would build the Space Shuttle if I had the plans and the cash). I'm building this to see what all the buzz is about with Quads. I just don't have the revenue at this time to get the real thing. My one worry is that I'm going to like the Quad line, and then what do I do with all my Dual line kites?
  16. I just finished this kite using the Le Quartz plans and framed with all P200. I had it in the wind a few times, but as usual swirling and gusting aren't the best conditions. I could only get it in the air about 10 sec at a time but that was all I needed to label this kite my favorite. I did my first backspin about 4 ft from the ground (don't know how I did it). I put it in a back flip gave it a lite pop and it wrapped up 3 times . Can't wait for some steady winds. Comments are welcome!

  18. Trick and Track sport kite from Premier Is there a video of this kite anywhere that shows it actually doing tricks? I flew this the other day and could not get it to do anything. I'm just a beginner, but I can do Lazy Susans, flick flacs, yo yo's and axels on my other kites. Is there something I don't know about this kite.
  19. Check out Tom's kitebuilding site! I'm building this one now and it is alot of fun to do. If you can use a sewing machine, this is a MUST BUILD. The full plans and step by step instructions for the Le Quartz" designed by Christian Derefat are on the web site. I can't wait to fly this. http://www.tweelijne...te-en/Home.html Video of Le Quartz in action:
  20. Well I'm back from OC MD. and I flew every day. The wind was a little high on Assateague Island so most flying was done at the edge of the window. I talked to Chris at the Kite Loft and he had me meet up with Mike on the beach in the morning just watching him fly my Qpro I picked up a lot of tips. I can now do YO Yo's and Flic Flac's. One morning at Assateague Island I was watching a young boy and his father struggle to get this small stunt kite in the air, when the father was holding the kite to launch it went up and almost took his head off. So I had to go over there and help. I asked if I could give his boy a few tips, he replied "please". I showed him how to launch from the ground by putting a little sand on the trailing edge to hold it in place, within minutes he was doing loops. The next day the same boy was on the beach practicing what I showed him. I think if I had not gone over to help he would have given up on kite flying. Now I can't wait to go to the Outer Banks in Sep.
  21. This site is awesome, Thanks
  22. Hi John, I'm really enjoying the yellow Qpro

  23. I made a weight for the tail on my jump using a 1/2 long inch piece of copper tubing about 6mm id. Well I went out today in some lite and choppy wind, at the first small gust of wind I pulled the kite up, turned it down to move into a fade, and I just did my first Yo Yo. The weight seamed to do the trick. Then the dam wind just went still. I can't wait to get to the beach next week.
  24. :confused!: Anywhere in these areas that give lessens?
  25. I'll be in OC MD 5-10 July, it would be great if I could get together with someone to show me some hands on training. I'll also be in OBX NC. sep 13 -19 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
