WKA/PCKA Indoor Fly and Christmas Dinner

Dear PCKA / WKA Members,

The Annual Christmas Dinner is rapidly arriving. It is scheduled for Dec 2 at the Mountain View Lutheran Church located at 3505 122nd Ave East, Edgewood, WA 98372. The indoor Gym will be available for an indoor fun fly from between Noon and 5 PM. Dinner and bag raffle setup will follow with dinner beginning at 6 PM.

Bob and Donna Wendt will be providing a turkey, soft drinks and eating utensils. Glenda Kleppin and Jerry Graham will be providing two hams. I will be providing tickets etc. for the exiting bag raffle. Jack Judd will be bringing stuffed animals for the children. The rest is a pot luck so please include your favorite dish or dessert to share with all our members. Tables will be set up first for the meal dishes so that we can have dinner as promptly at 6 PM as possible. Anyone willing to help set up tables and chairs will be greatly appreciated so that the bag raffle can begin as soon as possible too.

All profits from the bag raffle will be given to Mountain View Lutheran Church to be donated towards the Church’s food bank, so bring as many bag raffle items as you can.

This annual event has been going on for many years. It has always been very successful in raising some money for a good cause and getting together in the slower kiting season with old friends from the Northwest.
