Baloo Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Hi all. I LOVE Dragon kites and have found one at http://www.kiteskiteskites.com/kites/3ddragonfrmshrek.html Has anyone had any dealings with this shop or indeed any experience of the kite. I am tempted to buy one as the £ is strong a the moment and even with the shipping it would still be a good price to me. I thought of building one but think it might be a bit adventurous as a first kite. Then I thought about buying this one and making a 4 line sail for it which might be a bit easier. Any comments welcomed. Thanks, Chris. Quote

Aerochic Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 I had bought a balinese dragon kite awhile back that is very spiffy. You still see them pn Ebay from time to time. Problem is that it's more of an art piece than being fly worthy. I've flown it, but the winds take a real toll on on the edges which are not finished off (read: sewn). Plus it takes ~alot~ of wind to get in the air... Quote
Aerochic Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 KitesKitesKites has ~Bat~ kites!!! OMG! Those are one of the first I flew, except the look more like the "Spy Kites" on that website. Hee! Quote
