We enjoyed a great weekend of sun & wind and I got to really enjoy my new SS!!!

Just one thing, though - I had the outside (shorter) spreader-spars pop out on me several times... :) That said, the bungie chords @ the bottom end are (& always have been) very loose.

Is this a design concept (eg, to asssit in low-wind flight) or can I go ahead & tighten those puppies up?

ROFL, one time a spar popped off when I had the kite almost above me & the spar-turned-into-spear actually landed stuck into the ground! Didn't know that Revs are licensed to kill...

Putting a little bit of stress on that puppy aren't ya!?!? :)

I had mine pop out on me several times, the worst ones are when you are performing a dive stop in very strong winds -OUCH :) I tightened mine up right away. I also ran the bungee all the way around and tied it together in a knot instead of using the plastic washers and knot system to hold them into the sail. Run your spar between the bungee knot and the sail and then stretch the cap onto the end. Helps keep the spars intact a little better when the wind is kicking. On my SS it seems that the tighter the sail is the better the performance. Haven't really tried it indoors and don't usually bother getting it out in light winds.

Guess I am just a power junkie.

Thx for the pointers - I'll certainly give them a try :) And yes, you've got a good point there, I also wouldn't bother with the SS in light winds, so that point is moot...

Thx2all for the info - much appreciated as always!
