Guest Thomas Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 Hi , I have had a Quantum for half a year and really enjoyed this kite (being my first proper kite). To me its big, precise reacting, slow but graceful in its movements, and quite good in lower winds. Now I would like to get and upgrade that is easier to do tricks with and/or can do more tricks. I manage to do stalls , side slides, back flips and axels, but have a very hard time doing a fade and controlling it when i eventually get into a fade. Locally (thats Denmark) there is some good offers on both the Hypnotist and the E2. I really like the quality from Prism, so it would be fine to stick with this brand, but its not a must. Besides being easier to trick, I would appreciate good low wind performance (preferably better than the Quantum). Given all this is would you favor an E2 or the Hypnotis? Or recommend another kite? Your input is very much appreciated! Best regards Thomas PS: I am trying to register but nothing happens after the register button is clicked, only a balnk page appear in my browser... Quote

Guest Thomas Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 well for beter tricking try some tail weights you can use anything from washers to quarters and the quantom pro is a great kite to if you want to upgrade to a good trick from prism if you want to spend less try a mirage too Thanks, ant man. Regarding the tail weights does this apply to my regular Quantum as well? I am afraid that right now a Quantum Pro is beyond my budget... In Europe the Mirage goes under the Hypnotist name. Locally kite pilots prefer the E2 to the Hypnotist because of a stiffer frame and more trickability. Thanks. Best regards Thomas Quote
ant man Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 yes this is true the e2 is the better frame the mirage however has a spine shock for hard crashes and is framed with sky shark p 230 i have both kites and i find them both to work in diffrent ways i like the e2 for light winds because it has a lighter weight frame while the mirage is great gor yo yo s anf flic flacs youll have to be the judge of what you like the best Quote
