sky fish Posted May 27, 2007 Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 OK how do the ajustments work I cant seam to get the little buggers on the bottom stays to move for light medium and heavy wind is there some trick to these things that I haven't figured out :confused!: . or am I just being too nice to it since it is a new kite . Bugly Posted May 27, 2007 Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 The standoffs? For VERY light wind push the connector towards the centre T slightly (say inch) to reduce the tip wash. This will get you a SMALL improvement with light winds. Also adjust the bridle by sliding the knots to the nose in small increments. This will give you more 'drive' at low speed. Spence Watson Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 Sky Fish, I'm guessing you're talking about the bridal wind adjustment thing, like on a Quantum Prism. The knot by where you make the adjustment should look like a double-larks head or something simular to a larks head. Just loosen the knot and slide it to the designated areas for light or heavy winds.
