Tristan Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 On the Rev site techniques section. it instructs you to perform snap turns to perform some of the exercises. i can't find where it tells you exactly how to do a snap turn. is a snap turn a one handle snap or two? pull back or push forward? thanks for the help Ray Quote
Spence Watson Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I think you would do a two handle snap, while pulliung, then push after the turn to keep the kite from moving forward. I may be giving you a totally wrong description though (I'm not good with all this kite lingo.) Quote

Using your thumb to push down.. the equivalent of a push turn on a dual. It's quick, so you wuold have to snap the turn and hold it. BB Penny Quote

It would be better if they did'nt assume previous knowledge when when teaching. Ray Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Know what you mean. Hey Ray, are you working on changing directions behind you in no wind? BB Penny thanks. Tristan Posted June 13, 2007 Author Report Posted June 13, 2007 Do you mean a reverse up and over indoor? Ray Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Do you mean a reverse up and over indoor?Ray Was this question meant for me? Sorry, the format is a little confusing. Not a reverse overheasde, but flying behind you and chaning direction left to right.. right to left. And if you start spinning make the agitatior a goal. Spin body and kite right, spin body and kite left, right left. More challening indoor move then just spinning. BB Penny OOOhh Whidby Island, Sat. this weekend. The club is having a fun fly. Possible buggying and if weather is bad... indoor. BB Penny Quote
