ryanp
I need some help deciding on a kite to buy. I have some experience flying a dual line kite. It was an older Skynosaur(sp?) kite. It was small and fast. I haven't flow it for awhile, but I now live somewhere where we have some winds and a large park next to me. I am wanting to start learning some tricks and looking at a begginer/intermediate kite. Here are the ones I am looking at: Addiction Pyro XS Beetle Nexus I am trying to keep the price around the $50 range. Any help you have is appreciated!! Thanks! ant man
for the $50 dollar range the nexus or the beetle wil probly go for that .. both are great starter packages to get you into the basics of flying dual lines.. the addiction is another good 2 in one kite because its also a goos starter and when you get a little better it is a good kite to learn tricks on too

I was leaning towards the Addiction because I can get that for $50. I didn't know how that compared with the Pyro XS.

browndude3649
Ive got 2 Addictions and find them hard to trick, but that's me. pretty kites nonetheless. good starter kite for lawn darting tho i lost the top spreader twice and called premier-they sent me parts for FREE. So premier gets my vote for customer service Never had Nexus but I think you'lll have an easier time trickin. Dont forget the Newtech BLK for uber windy days! ryanp
Thanks for all of the info. I went ahead and ordered an Addiction kite last night. I should get it next week, so we'll see how everything goes. Thanks for all the advice. Ryan
John F
I started with a Nexus. Great durable kite and it is fast. Barely trickable, definately not the way to learn tricks. If tricks are you thing I would spend a little more and get a full size kite that is slower. If you want to paint the sky get the Nexus and buy a cheap less than $5 plastic tube tail that is 50 to 70 feet long. It slows the Nexus down but it is cool. You will have some fun
