Dean750 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 This may sound goofy, and I'm totally sold on the B Series. Anyone flown the Airbow? And if so, whats it like compared to a Rev? Just curious. Quote
huwg Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 I've flown neither, but this may interest you. http://www.kitelife.com/archives/issue44/airbow44/index.htm especially this bit.... "it flies through the air in exactly the same way that a Rev doesn't" Quote
REVflyer Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I had that kite first (for it's KITELIFE review, before Monkey), but in my local conditions it was virtually unfit for flight. It has 8 wrap center frame members and the sail is drum-tight, offering beautiful construction and design. No flight in less than a stiff breeze would be pleasurable. If you live near some pant-leg-whippin' routine ocean breezes though, you may enjoy it a lot! It will certainly be both a new experience and a challenge to "master". Quote
