layangman Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 Try thishttp://www.gwtw-kites.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=37279 Hey Thanks! Read those comments, not not enough info....most important is how does it compare with REV 1.5 (althoug not a very fair comparison). I have a REV II (modified) and its very fast and fun but not precise at all. The Mosquito has a more unique sail compared to a REV. Patrick Quote
DaveS Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 Hi.Anyone flown this kite yet? How's it fly? Precision? Thanks. Got one a few weeks back and on first flight it blew a wing tip spar (12 MPH winds). Replaced spar and tried again in 12-14 MPH. Kite is slow to respond, has a lot of over steer and is heavy(main spar) for the low end of the wind rating (3-18 mph). Would suggest that if purchased , first thing to check out is that all lines are connected (mine came w/ 3 bridle lines either not connected or very lightly tied). I have had very experienced quad line friends try this and they feel the same. Kite does offer some unique bridle adjustments ,so I'm not giving this a thumbs down until I can try them all in a reasonable fashion. Hopes this helps, Dave S Quote
