New York Flying areas ?

Hello, I´m from Spain, and I want go to New York in 20 days for my hollidays,

Being a kite´s enthusiast I would like to fly there. My hotel in NY is near Central Park. and my question are if is possible fly in Central Park, any prohibition ? ,any field or flying area.

I think there are fliers who go to Jones Beach, I've also flown at the Mitchell Field sports complex in Uniondale (Long Island)... I would recommend you also post your question here (more NY fliers reading):
