I am needing new line for my dual. Since I am a newbie i'm not sure what line I bought way back when I bought the kite. I do like how long it has lasted.

How do I figure out what line I currently have so I can replace it with the same line?

My edit of this post, sorry all I forgot I asked just about the same question in the past. Only difference is this post has a pic.

I thank you all for all the help I received in the past post and the help I get in this one.

sincerely, Mike

Best way to start is to post the make and model of your kite. Someone here will know what weights of line are appropriate for that kite.

Trying to post a pic. You can even see the line in the pic. This was my first and only dual up until about a week ago.

Now I have two dual's and that is all I have in my kite bag. Until I can save up and get a REV.

Hope someone can help me out. I know it ain't a new high tech kite but it flies great.

Line strength is right on the package - 80# for 3-8 mph, 150# for 8-20 mph! Probably use something in the 80', 90', 100' length! Might want 2 sets for it - a shorter, lighter set and a longer, stronger set! That way you can fly in many wind conditions and adjust the lines to accommodate the day's conditions!

Michael, That's a good size sail on that kite. I think if you will look around (on-line) at RTF (ready to fly) kites, in that size range, you'll see that most are supplied with 150# lines, of various lengths. A good all around line, for decent winds, would be 100 ft x 150 lb. If you are going to be flying in very light winds, you can surely go lighter & shorter. Just find yourself a decent "brand name" line, that fits the old budget, and go for it........ :ani_victory:

Personally, I'd probably go for a 100 ft x 150 lb set, but then, I'm not going to be flying in light winds, either :cat_lol:
