A few pictures from a local kite fliers meeting.

Since the wind was not enough for most kites to get into the air, and the heat an unbearable 100F+ in the shade.

We sat down in the bathinglake and flew my Spectre XUL.

Here from the same meeting as the photos above, wind is as close to non existence as you get outdoors in the blazing heat.

The kite itself is 100 inch wingspan and depending on the framing used between 2.8 ounces with avia breeze and 2.3 ounces with custom frames.

It is featherlight

I would say it is the lightest fullsize kite you can get.
