Guest joel Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 I found a nice park adjacent a school in petaluma, miwak park. nice open grass area and nice a nice clearing up wind which gives it a nice steady wind. was around 10 to 15 steadily the whole time I was there yesterday. I was flying my quantum and my snapshot 2.5 Quote

rexracer Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 It's usually windy until I go to set up a kite, then nothing. Sometimes the wind picks up again if I leave. 1 Quote

Yes, the fliers dilemma, do I stay or do I go? Another variation is great wind all day, until I get off work. Midday winds seem to favor the retired, unemployed or night shift guys. I must say that I traveled 5,000 plus miles, across this great country & saw good winds in all fourteen states I was in. No excuses for not putting up a kite. Timing is everything. 1 Quote
