ripit Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 i want to make a couple of small box kites, was wonderin where i could find some plans for different designs besides traditional 4 sided boxes Quote
codykiteguy Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Just how small do you consider small? I build cody kites and for me small is 4 foot, smaller than that gets too unstable for fabric kites. Have you looked in David Pelham's book "Kites"? Quote
John Barresi Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Here is a miniature Cody on Peter Peter's site... http://www.win.tue.nl/~pp/kites/ifosk/plans/cody.gif Linked from Glenn Davison's miniature kites page... http://miniatures.kitingusa.com/mini_plans.htm Look, John knows something about single lines! codykiteguy Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 hmmmmmmmmm, I am guessing that we are looking at mm measurements. I know that when building very small kites you sometimes have to distort the actual design of the kite, I am afraid I am too much of a purest to allow that to happen in my cody kite building. However if you can go there then you probably now have some good information. Quote
