TOMKLU
I'll be traveling to these two areas and was wondering if there might be someone in Ottawa that knows a good field. Also, looking to stop in the Chicago / Joliet area to assist cousin (new to kiting) with flying. Thanks

TOMKLU
Thanks Wayne. Was cruising the site from work and wasn't allowed access. I'll look again when I get home.
Wayne Dowler
It also doesn't hurt to post here!! Just post the dates, times, etc, and see if anyone responds!!
Tmadz
There's a few of us in the west suburbs of Chicago, but I don't know anyone that's around Joliet (southwest of Chicago) offhand. Although I can always be persuaded if given a date you are planning to fly. More advance notice gives me more flexibility. I'm a little familiar with the area. TOMKLU
Thanksgiving for the info guys. Travel dates keep getting pushed back. Near Chicago, i was looking for a field where i could teach my cousin and her husband how to fly their 2 line kite and show them the Rev. A little drive won't be bad for guaranteed wind. Tmadz
Well down near Joliet, you'll definitely be close to farm fields. Corn is bad (too tall) soybeans are good.
