Missing about 2/3s of the fly with a set of broken lines!! Earlier had wrapped with an SLK's tail and think my lines were partly cut and then high wind just popped them! Got in on the last bit of action after getting some other lines out and while at it, switching kites! But missed being in the video!

My lines went the previous weekend so I was lucky (did not know it at the time)

We flew the whole time of the festival so did we did not see any demos.

Did yours go ok?

Also sorry about hijacking your radio channel. Checked it for a while and did not hear anyone ..so went with 11

Our demos went really well! My solo demos were in nothing winds, so out came my Zen for those! Saturday, we did 2 routines - our own and a 4 pak version of the "Champions" routine! Sunday, 3 of us did some free style follow and moves! Not bad considering the strong winds!

Don't sweat the channel thing, there are plenty to use. We just changed to something open to practice! However be aware that using the wiring setup that lets you use an iPod, locks that channel to be listened to by everyone on that channel! If you turn on first! We just found one open to use. Usually there are only 2-3 channels in use out of the 7-8 in the low range of our radios! Hi power channels are supposed to require a license to use, don't think anyone has one!

Island Quad always on ch 8, iQuad used to be on ch 10, we use ch 11 if open! Not sure what channel Phoenix uses!

PS: my lines had at least 150 solid hours of flying time on them, would have gotten more I'm sure, but things happen!

PSS: Thanks for the loan of the sail!! Only flew it once as the wind kept building!
