A strip of fibreglass filament reinforcing tape would be quite still compared to the super light skin that you are using. The alignment of strips could create ribs or a leading edge or even deliberately create a fold or pucker that would direct air flow like a keel. There are so many tapes out there that vary in weight and stiffness - especially if you layer them up - that you should be able to find a combo of the right flex and stiffness.
