Smooth winds
While visiting my parents over the Christmas holidays I found a few kites the community might enjoy. 29 cents for a kite and one was dated 1923 Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
makatakam
I believe those are from the 50's and 60's. I would buy those as a kid for about that price. Many hours of priceless fun.

makatakam
Oh yeah! Sure was. I owned and flew both of those and a few others from the same company. The date on the kite is when the design or utility patent(s) were granted, and the company kept making them and multiple other designs for quite a long time. I'm not sure, but they still may be making them. I saw some in a store just a couple of years ago. Old stock? Maybe. Running off to Google them now. Update: It appears the company was sold to Damon Corporation in the late seventies. I should have jumped on the ones I saw a couple of years ago.
